Einstein’s Elevator: World Lines, Michelson–Morley Experiment and Relativistic Paradox

چکیده
We all have in mind Einstein’s famous thought experiment the elevator where we observe free fall of a body, and then trajectory light ray. Here, addition to qualitative aspect, exact calculations are carried out, worldlines equations given. A uniformly accelerated reference frame rectilinear translation is considered, it shown that trajectories particles semi-ellipses with center on event horizon. The non-inertial, spacetime flat, computations performed within framework special relativity. Some experimental consequences discussed, especially Michelson–Morley interferometer solved, an experiment, new relativistic paradox appears—a particle matter seems go faster than light—is described. differences, compared classical case, important at large scale close horizon, but they small lift interest above theoretical. concepts metric, coordinated velocity horizon analogy black hole made.

Einsteins' role in clinical research
Scientific research is a systematic process aimed to build knowledge through a set of structured evaluations, thus generating the development of both the individual that performs research and the society in which it is developed. The objective of research is to produce knowledge, possibly applicable inside and outside researchersénvironments, and perhaps generate practical actions. Research met...
متن کاملAn Experiment on the Ellsberg Paradox
Experimental results on the Ellsberg paradox typically reveal behavior that is commonly interpreted as ambiguity aversion. The experiments reported in the current paper were intended to examine the extent to which such ambiguity aversion can be captured by the Hurwicz criterion. However, contrary to our expectations, Laplace’s principle of insufficient reason performed substantially better than...
متن کاملFeynman’s Relativistic Electrodynamics Paradox and the Aharonov-Bohm Effect
An analysis is done of a relativistic paradox posed in the Feynman Lectures of Physics involving two interacting charges. The physical system presented is compared with similar systems that also lead to relativistic paradoxes. The momentum conservation problem for these systems is presented. The relation between the presented analysis and the ongoing debates on momentum conservation in the Ahar...
متن کاملParadox and Relativism
Since the time of Plato, relativism has been attacked as a self-refuting theory. Today, there are two basic kinds of argument that are used to show that global relativism is logically incoherent: first, a direct descendent of the argument Plato uses against Protagoras, called the peritrope; and, second, a more recent argument that relativism leads to an infinite regress. Although some relativis...
متن کاملThe Reversal Small - World Experiment
This paper is an attempt to examine and define the world network of a typical individual by discovering how many of his or her acquaintances could be used as first steps in a small-world procedure, and for what reasons. The town and occupation of each target was provided, together with the ethnic background, where this could not be inferred from the name. Starters were instructed in the small-w...
